CRYSTALYX Calflyx

Calflyx promotes early rumen development and stronger immunity in calves. It is a feed lick specially designed to stimulate an early appetite for dry feed in young calves.

Benefits:

• Stimulates rumen development and encourages early intake of dry feed
• The contained butyrate goes straight to the rumen and supports the development of rumen tissues as the most important energy source (epithelial cells)
• Sugar also ferments to butyrate, which also supports the development of the rumen tissues
• Yeast cell wall components support intestinal health for a strong and active immune system
• Palatable even for bucket-reared calves (butyrate is a natural component of milk)
• Reduces mutual licking and suckling by promoting activity

Feeding recommendations:

2 x 5 kg tub / 10 calves
2 x 22.5 kg tub / 20 calves

Always off er two containers per group of animals, to prevent hierarchical conflicts.

Average intake:

Calves: 30 - 40 g/day
Older calves/weanlings: 80 - 100 g/day
